PLEASANTON, CA — A man accused of threatening several Pleasanton residents, including an incident involving a knife and indecent exposure, has been arrested, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

Sanjay Saxena, 57, is a transient from the Fremont area, said police spokesperson Teri Yan in an email. He approached a worker outside of her job near Santa Rita Road and W. Las Positas Boulevard, Yan said. She told him to leave, Saxena brandished a knife and pointed it at her, and pulled down his pants, exposing himseld to her, Yan said.

Saxena was arrested days later, when he threatened a person on the sidewalk near the first incident, Yan said.

On Wednesday police arrested Saxena on suspicion of charges related to criminal threats and false imprisonment, according to Yan and jail records. He was also booked on a warrant for recklessly causing a fire of a structure and driving under the influence and causing bodily injury, jail records show.

He remained in Santa Rita Jail as of Thursday afternoon, where he is held in lieu of $140,000 bail. Saxena was due in court Friday morning for his arraignment.
